Gurnee, IL - April 22, 2021 – Millennium Farm is pleased to announce their new location at Fields and Fences Equestrian Center in Gurnee, Illinois. After returning to the Chicago area after a successful winter circuit and several Circuit Championships in Ocala, Florida, owners Sue and Katie Leverick are full speed ahead for the spring and summer show season.
The new facility is a nice upgrade, featuring more amenities for both clients and horses. The facility boasts two large heated indoor arenas, 4 outdoor arenas, grass and sand paddocks, a derby field, and 12 miles of safety fenced bridle trails. The facility currently hosts various levels of horse shows from riding school students to USEF premier rated shows, where clients can participate without the expense of shipping, hotels, or travel. Sales are Strong
Millennium Farm sold two high level jumpers including Action Augustin, a horse Katie Leverick did well on in the Welcome Stakes prior to it going to a young rider from Michigan and trainer Sarah Robertson of Ascend Equestrian. The Levericks also imported a new young horse for Char Suter named Sonadora. The eight-year-old Belgian Warmblood, imported in January, has already shown with great success and will help Suter move up to the adult jumpers and possibly do some hunter classes as well.

B Show Team
While the Levericks were in Ocala, trainer Kylie Zankowski kept the huge lesson program going and took a group to the Ledges B shows in Roscoe, Illinois. Zankowski works on the basics and gives riders experience in the show rings so they can move up to the premier level horse shows with confidence. She has produced an excellent lesson student program focusing on horsemanship, general horse knowledge and entry level showing.
B Team takes home top awards from Ledges Winter Series.
Horses and ponies are available to lease for the shows so riders can see what it is like to have a horse and show. Most move on to their own horse after the experience with the knowledge and assurance of what it’s like to own one and compete.
Ready for Spring
Katie Leverick continues to take over the reins of the day to day horse management and continues to up her game by lessoning with several clinicians including Diane Carney. With a busy show schedule and some new horses, the team is ready to head into competition in the Chicago area for spring and summer with a possible trip to Traverse City.
Monday night lesson fun at the new facility.
Millennium Farm is a family friendly environment emphasizing horsemanship from the ground up. The trainers are USHJA Certified trainers and they run a USHJA Certified Riding Academy.
