The jumper classes have moved to the indoor arena from the previous outdoor location. The show also features the popular $5,000 3' Hunter Derby with plenty of social events to go with those special classes. VIP seating can be reserved for special events in the main ring.
Emerson Burr Horsemanship Grant
The St. Louis National Charity Horse Show is excited to host the Zone 7 Emerson Burr Horsemanship Grant testing this year. It’s a great way for pony riders to test their horsemanship knowledge and earn money for their equestrian endeavors.
The grant testing is available for juniors competing in pony classes, ages 17 and under. The program consists of a written multiple-choice test on horsemanship with four age groups. The National test will be held at USEF Pony Finals presented by Honor Hill Farms. Each winner at the zone level will receive a $100 grant to be used toward educational-or equestrian-related expenses, as well as a $50 Dover Saddlery gift card.

The National Equestrian Center continues to put huge effort into improving the footing in all arenas while DMG Shows and manager Duhon, are dedicated to sensible scheduling and creating a fun show experience for all exhibitors. Hospitality returns to the horse show with barn-sponsored lunches, dinners, happy hours, and an ice cream social.
There will not be a Grand Prix or Welcome Stake this year but the schedule will be full of jumper classes for all levels of riders in addition to the regular hunter and equitation divisions.
Supporting Local Charities
As always, the best part of the horse show is that it is proud to support two amazing non-profit organizations in the community: Stray Rescue of St. Louis, an organization dedicated to finding new lives for stray animals of St. Louis, and TREE House of Greater St. Louis, a therapeutic horsemanship center for people with disabilities and their families. Over the last five years, the show has proudly donated over $115,000 to these charities. The horse show strives to improve the lives of both people and animals through their events and the organizations that benefit from them.
Mark your calendars for September 14-18, 2022 and meet us in St. Louis!
