In a Nutshell
After over 35 years in the horse industry as a junior rider, groom, braider, riding school instructor, catch rider, trainer, and barn owner, my mother was pleased that I finally used my college education to start up a media business. My years of experience in the horse business made me aware of what clients need while they are on the road spending countless hours a day to succeed in the show ring. Working from home or on location, my computer and phone are always with me except for walks with my morale booster, Rover, (who should have his own social media page for the repertoire of cute things he does) and his coveted pool time. We keep you up to date on hunter jumper news and help our clients get the promotion and branding they need. We do the hard part so clients can spend more time in the tack doing what they love.
The Long Story
I grew up in Wisconsin and spent years showing in the Chicago area and across the country, building great connections and friendships in the business along the way. I graduated from Alverno College in Milwaukee with a double major in Business and Professional Communications, while spending my college summers grooming. When I finally started my own stable, I learned that running a horse business is time consuming and I was always missing opportunities to promote my business and keep the customers coming. I’d miss an ad deadline because I couldn’t find my logo, or I didn’t have time to create an ad. I had too many horses on the ride list and I’d forget to post something on social media, or by the end of the horse show, I was lucky if I remembered my name much less report on our success. My website was never updated because it would take me three hours to do what the experts could do in ten minutes. I saw a need for equestrians to have a place to keep up with the news, get ideas from other businesses, and keep their names in the news for future business, thus Marketing4Equestrians began. I know the market because I’ve lived it and I can create solutions from a professional horseperson’s perspective. You hire the best farriers, grooms, and veterinarians to keep your horses at their peak, you maybe even hire an accountant so keep your billing organized, it makes perfect sense to have a marketing team handle your promotion. I understand the budget constraints and help clients achieve their goals without breaking the bank. So, get a leg up on the next horse and let us help with your marketing.
